Installing Armor Screen Hurricane protection screen is the perfect option if you would like something less solid that you can see right through so it doesn’t impair your view of the outdoors. Although this may seem less secure than solid shutters, rest assured they are highly durable and extremely strong. All of our hurricane screen has been through vigorous lab testing to withstand 276mph winds, and has been proven in the real world to successfully withstand a category 5 hurricane, with repeated impacts from flying debris. The impact testing surpassed five times the standard Miami-Dade Large Missile Impact Test. All of our hurricane screen is Florida Building Code and Miami-Dade Product Control approved. The Armor Screen Hurricane protection screen is available in the following 5 systems: Hemcord System, Grommet Sysyem, I-Beam Track System, Buckle and Strap System and Roll-Up System.
